With thousands of twitter t(w)ools out there it is hard to filter out which are useful, and even more difficult to dig up the sites that will help with your daily productivity. Today I stumbled across twistory, which provides an calendar feed for iCal or Google Calendar which allows you to easily browse through your Twitter backlog.
Okay, so what does that mean ? The tool pulls in your tweets into your calendar from the moment you start (actually back dates your tweets about a week when you sign up) and continues to update throughout the day. Whatever 140 characters you’re sharing with the twitterverse, at whatever time of day, twistory will help you remember what you said.
And why am I claiming that it’s actually useful? Why I like it: One, I can keep active tabs on what my friends said and when they said it (if I run a search for their information). Two, I frequently use twitter share what I learn at conferences and tweetups (specific information down the line I often forget). But if I know the date of the event, I can scroll through my calendar down the road and jog my memory and that to me is pretty freaking s(t)weet, at least worth checking out.
