Refocusing.

After yesterday’s vague post about feeling like a total Negative Nancy, I wanted to follow up and thank each of your for your support. I’m unbelievably lucky and honored to have such a great network to help cheer me up. While I’m not feeling 100% (I’d say I’m hovering around 37 or so), I made conscious effort this evening to spend time geeking out online in places that I love. And while this may come as a surprise to you, they’re not all social networking sites! In no particular order they are:

  • Cute Overload –  Unless you’re Brian (who is creeped out by animals of all kinds), you’ll probably understand why this makes me happy.
  • Vegan Yum Yum – As a lactose-intolerant vegetarian, I would never claim to be “vegan,” but this site offers up great recipes and beautiful pictures.
  • How About Orange – Seemingly easy crafty things that if I actually had the time (and/or drive) to make any of them, I might actually be able to do it!
  • TechCrunch — I’m sorry, I couldn’t help it. I’m a geek. We know this.
  • NYTimes — While I enjoy a large portion of the publication, I focus my energy mostly on business, technology and dining
  • Reddit and Mixx — I loooovvveee aggregated sites. So much good (and totally ridiculous and random) information all in one stop shopping. So flipping awesome.
  • Twitter and Facebook — Hey, I said not ALL of them were social networks.

What about you? Where do you love online?
