For as many applications as I download onto my beautiful and wonderful iPhone, I have to admit, they’re lacking what some may call pizazz. Sure, I’ve got Echofon, Tweetie 2, Maestro.fm, Bump, Foursquare, Mint.com, Facebook Focus, Slydial (pretend like you don’t know I have that one), Craigsphone, Yelp, NPR, NYTimes, HuffPost, etc. — almost all of the applications on my phone have purpose and functionality. While they’re exciting to me, they’re expected from a PR/Social Media person.
So, today I set out on a App Store mission to spice up my phone. And while I’m not sure that I was 100% successful, allow me to introduce you to Facebook Facts.

If you were running out of unique content and looking for a way to spice up your Facebook Status updates, check this out. This application guarantees your friends will comment on your updates for days because of the extensive knowledge it will give you on “everything that is random and awesome.” Random facts include:

Hm. Meh. The application breaks random facts into categories like business, entertainment, animals, etc., and you can personalize each fact before connecting it to your Facebook status.
I’m not sure this was the spice I was after, but I did learn from Facebook Facts that it’s illegal to carry an ice cream cone in my back pocket in Alabama. Hm. Someone remind me of that in a couple weeks when I’m back home. Wouldn’t want to get arrested over the holidays. Sigh.
Anyone, good/exciting/spicy apps for my dull phone?
