Last night, Seattle’s 107.7 The End’s twitter account stepped into what I’d consider unforgiveable territory, they profiled and discriminated.
But it wasn’t just that tweet. They argued back and forth with their followers about their beliefs. Here’s more of the conversation:
The station claims their account was hacked, and they do not agree with the sentiments, and [...]
I used to love the angst of dating. I used to love waiting for the phone call, or the nervousness of being asked out by my crush in person. The in class note pass, and watching them blush as I unfolded the paper to see, “Would you like to go out with me?”
I loved the [...]
I’ve always struggled with cutting myself slack and learning to accept my mistakes by taking each one as a learning opportunity. Typically in reaction to major errors, I knee jerk and lose control…which inevitably means I make more mistakes. I call it cyclical suffering, which feels like the adult version of teen angst.

…so what you’ve heard is true. Within a week, I’ll be leaving the incredible Seattle community — a wonderful group of colleagues and friends. When I moved here three years ago, I could have never anticipated what this “rainy” city has provided me.

I attend a fair amount of social media and communication conferences and social media panels to connect with industry folks that understand the space better than I do. At these events I try to be sure that I get my my $40 (or whatever the cost was to attend the event) worth. What I typically see [...]
When I worked at Walt Disney World in 2004 as a part of the College Program, my role kept me in Magic Kingdom, primarily in Fantasyland.
Fantasyland is home to Ariel’s Grotto, the Mary Poppins Carousel, and of course, the It’s A Small World ride. After spending 9 months in close proximity to that joyous ride [...]
For as many applications as I download onto my beautiful and wonderful iPhone, I have to admit, they’re lacking what some may call pizazz. Sure, I’ve got Echofon, Tweetie 2, Maestro.fm, Bump, Foursquare, Mint.com, Facebook Focus, Slydial (pretend like you don’t know I have that one), Craigsphone, Yelp, NPR, NYTimes, HuffPost, etc. — almost all [...]
After leaving you for more than 10 days in a complete state of confusion (don’t worry, I was right there with you), I wanted to make it up to you with something that has become my absolute favorite start to my day, and it comes in the form of a daily e-mail.
Another daily e-mail subscription, [...]
